Parenting After Separation: Finances is free online workshop that helps parents get a better handle on the financial aspects of separation and divorce. The course includes videos, text, worksheets and interactive exercises.
The process of ending a relationship is challenging. In addition to dealing with your emotions, formalizing new parenting arrangements, and helping your children make a positive adjustment, you have the task of dealing with your financial situation.
The workshop assists parents to understand how to address the financial issues connected with separating and how to develop business-like strategies for dealing with these issues for the long term.
The program is also appropriate for extended family members and members of the community who provide support to separating parents.
