CourtsofBC.ca is a website that provides educational information and instructional videos about BC’s Provincial Court, Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. In the videos Alex, a student interested in learning more about BC’s court system, speaks to three judges about the role and functions of the three courts. In addition to the videos, this resource also features downloadable student handouts and a Teacher's Guide.

This popular video series provides basic information to help litigants search and find the documents they need. AdminLawBC.ca helps British Columbians learn about administrative law, search for and prepare for a tribunal by bringing information on the complete range of administrative law resources together under one domain. The website features three videos, the BC Admin Law Directory of 100+ tribunals and a list of experts available to speak about numerous administrative law areas.
SmallClaimsBC.ca provides an introduction to the Small Claims Pilot, which aims to ensure faster and earlier solutions to small claims cases. The site’s videos explain summary and simplified trials, mediations, trials and trial conferences. The site also features downloadable forms and provides information in French, Simplified Chinese, Punjabi and Vietnamese.
CourtInformation.ca is the home of the Court Information Program for Immigrants. The program eliminates language and cultural barriers and enhances access to the courts and to justice for immigrants and refugees.
The Justice Education Society hosted a series of workshops titled, “Youth and Gangs” in February and March 2011 and the workshop resources are now available online. The workshops helped immigrant youth, parents and settlement workers understand the dangers of gang involvement and where they can get assistance. The free community sessions for parents were held in Vietnamese, Punjabi, Spanish and Chinese and the free training workshops for settlement workers were held in English. All workshops featured presentations by youth gang and justice system experts.
The Justice Education Society has produced a series of online resources along with Access Pro Bono, the Law Society of BC and Salvation Army Pro Bono Program. Videos, worksheets and a resource directory are available to prepare clients to receive pro bono and unbundled legal services and are in English, Chinese and Punjabi.
