Families Change: Guide to Separation and Divorce
FamiliesChange.ca is an acclaimed age-appropriate resource that provides information for all those who may be involved in a separation or divorce: children, teens, parents and professionals. Animation, text, audio and video combine to help families and youth better cope with divorce or separation.
A Guide for Grown-ups is designed to complement A Kids' Guide to Separation and Divorce. The guide explains how to make effective use of the Web site, and provides a list of books on the subject of separation and divorce.
A Teen Guide to Parental Separation and Divorce (FLASH|HTML) is designed for both preteens and teens.
The site is also available in French.
FamiliesChange.ca explains the law in a general way. As each person’s case is different, the sites are not intended to provide legal advice about a specific problem. The sites contain information about the law as of March 31, 2003. But the law can change. For these reasons, the Web sites do not replace the specialized advice of lawyers and other experts.
