The project, which involves 12 Lower Mainland organizations, will source and develop public legal education resources in a number of languages.
ImmigrantLegal.ca is the project's online home and legal toolkit for new immigrants and the people who work with them. The website provides a service agency directory, fact sheets, forms, frequently asked qustions, instructional videos and related website links - all on the topics of Employment Standards, Residential Tenancy, Family Law and Domestic Violence. Some resources are available in more than 10 languages. The site also include videos on Canadian legal values and a number of organizations that provide services for new immigrants.
