The Society is a non-profit organization that has been pioneering public legal education in British Columbia for 20 years. We work at building stronger communities in BC by providing information and education on the justice system to schools and the general public.
At this moment, the Society is facing the greatest challenge in its history regarding programs for B.C. schools.
Funding has been cut by more than $300,000. As a result, Society services to over 15,000 students are being cut this year. We have recently closed four regional offices and stopped school related services to over 50% of the province. The Society is working to rebuild these services through fundraising.

Creating informed citizens and promoting access to justice through knowledge is the mission of the Society and our passion. Education for British Columbians on our law and our justice system is fundamental to having healthy and engaged citizens with confidence in the courts.
Thank you for supporting our efforts to ensure that all students in B.C. have access to education on their justice system.
